The FuelCell SuperComp Elite v5 is New Balance's top race-day weapon. Ultra-high energy-return FuelCell PEBA foam paired with Energy Arc: an arc-shaped carbon plate with a cut-out that stores and releases energy on every stride. Very high stack, 4mm drop, ~230g (US 9). Ultralight breathable FantomFit upper. Built for race day, from the 10K to the marathon, for runners chasing maximum return and an aggressive ride. Racing durability (250-350km competitive life): use it for races and fast sessions, not slow daily volume.

Fast but race-only
Phenomenal race shoe, but durability is racing-level: after 300km the foam fades. Keep it for the days that count.
